About

Built for engineers,
by engineers.

Additiveio is a Portland-based metal additive manufacturing operation. We produce flight-grade Ti-6Al-4V brackets and structural fittings with AS9100-ready documentation delivered alongside the part. We are not a design consultancy, and we do not print prototypes — we print production parts that go into qualification packages.

Founded in 2024 by engineers who spent a combined two decades inside tier-1 aerospace supply chains. We know what a procurement manager needs to see before signing a PO: a complete documentation package, traceable powder, and a process that was built for qualification from the beginning — not retrofitted after the fact.

The Team

Four engineers. One focus.

Small enough to give every program direct engineering attention. Experienced enough to have seen what aerospace supply chains actually need.

Michelle Kurosawa, CEO and Co-Founder of Additiveio

Michelle Kurosawa

CEO & Co-Founder

Michelle spent eight years as a materials and process engineer at a tier-1 aerospace structural components supplier in the Pacific Northwest, working Ti-6Al-4V LPBF qualification programs from initial parameter development through first article. The recurring problem: documentation was always treated as a post-build task — collected retrospectively, chased from sub-suppliers, assembled under deadline pressure just before delivery. Qualification cycles that could have taken six weeks regularly stretched to twelve or more because the QMS and the build process operated on separate tracks. She founded Additiveio in Portland in 2024 to build it the other way: documentation architecture designed in parallel with the build plan, traceability linked at the point of powder receipt, and a qualification package that is ready when the part is.

Process Engineer, Additiveio team member

Rajan Mehta

Process Engineer

Six years at a defense manufacturing OEM developing LPBF parameters for Ti-6Al-4V and Inconel flight hardware. Background in melt pool characterization, scan strategy design (island, stripe, and chess variants), and post-build thermal cycle optimization. Responsible for Additiveio's build parameter library and in-process monitoring protocol.

Quality Engineer, Additiveio team member

Sarah Voss

Quality Lead

Aerospace quality engineer with nine years' experience in CMM programming, AS9100 document control, and FAI execution at precision machining and casting suppliers. Designed Additiveio's inspection workflow and documentation package format from the ground up. Every element of the delivery package — dimensional report, material cert, NDT record, build log — traces back to Sarah's templates.

Applications Engineer, Additiveio team member

Marcus Osei

Applications Engineer

Structural and mechanical engineer with a background in DfAM review at two aerospace primes. Manages the 48-hour design-for-additive-manufacturing feedback cycle — wall thickness, support accessibility, build orientation, and tolerance callout review before any build plan is written. If your CAD has a printability issue, Marcus finds it before the build does.

Engineering Commitments

Why we exist

Not mission statements. Not brand values. Engineering commitments that describe how we work.

No shortcuts on qualification

Documentation is baked into the build process, not assembled after delivery. Every build record, material cert, and inspection report is produced in parallel with the part, not chased down at the end.

Traceability by default

Every build has a full material chain. Powder lot, incoming inspection results, build parameters, HIP cycle, and inspection records are all linked to a part serial number from day one.

Portland-built, aerospace-proven

Independent and bootstrapped. No VC noise, no platform vision — just engineering. We answer to the programs we serve, and that keeps us focused on the only metric that matters: parts that qualify.
