Quality

AS9100-ready from build one.

"AS9100-ready" means our process is designed to AS9100 requirements — documentation built in, traceability by default. We are an early-stage company; we do not claim AS9100 certification. That honesty is a trust signal, not a limitation.

Four Pillars

What quality means on every part we deliver

These aren't aspirational — they're the minimum standard for every build that leaves our facility.

Dimensional Control

CMM measurement on every delivered part. Dimensional report issued in a format compatible with customer FAI packages. Critical feature callouts verified against drawing tolerances.

Material Verification

Powder lot chemistry certificate included with every build. Chemical composition verified against AMS 4928 limits. Material cert tied to part serial number in the documentation package.

NDT Coverage

Micro-CT scan and dye penetrant inspection are standard for flight-hardware builds. NDT results documented per ASTM E1742 / E165 as applicable. Radiography available on request.

Documentation Package

FAI-ready document set per part: dimensional report, material cert, NDT report, build record, heat treatment records. AS9100-compliant format. Delivered with the part — no follow-up requests needed.

Inspection Workflow

Four-step inspection before every delivery

Visual & Surface Inspection

Dye penetrant examination of all accessible surfaces. Criteria per ASTM E165. Surface finish measured and documented.

Micro-CT Internal Scan

X-ray computed tomography for internal defect detection. Voids, inclusions, or un-melted powder documented and disposition per drawing acceptance criteria.

CMM Dimensional Report

All critical and major dimensions measured. Report formatted to ASME Y14.5 GD&T. Deviations flagged with disposition. Digital file included.

Documentation Review & Release

All inspection records reviewed against drawing requirements before release. Non-conformances require engineering disposition before shipment authorization.

Compliance Awareness

ITAR-Aware Facility

We understand ITAR requirements for defense and aerospace components. Not every aerospace part is ITAR-controlled — but the line isn't always clear, and we take that seriously.

Inquiries involving ITAR-regulated technical data, drawings, or specifications are handled by designated personnel only. We do not transfer controlled technical data to unauthorized parties.

If your program involves ITAR-controlled components or data, contact us at [email protected] to discuss your requirements before submitting technical data.

Note: This is an awareness statement. Additiveio does not claim ITAR registration or ITAR compliance certification. Consult your legal team for program-specific ITAR requirements.
